One property, the right method

The method follows the land.

Most companies offer one service. We run mulchers, a compact excavator, and grapple-equipped loaders, so we can pick the approach that suits your ground, your trees, and your end goal. Browse the services below, then tell us what you want the land to do — we will match the method to it.

Talk it through

How it works

From first call to finished ground.

  1. Tell us about the property

Send a few photos, the location and what you want the land to do. That is enough to start a real conversation.

  2. Walkthrough & estimate

Wade or Caleb walks the property with you, confirms the method and gives you a clear number.

  3. Selective clearing

We keep the trees you want and open the rest — matched to your ground and your end goal.

  4. Review the result

We walk the finished ground together so there are no surprises about what was kept and what was cleared.

Good questions

Land clearing, answered straight.

What is forestry mulching?

Forestry mulching uses a drum-style grinder mounted on a compact track loader to shred brush, saplings and small trees into a layer of mulch in a single pass. It clears the understory while leaving mature trees in place and returns organic material to the soil — so there is no burn pile and no haul-off.

Will mulching kill the brush permanently?

Mulching grinds above-ground growth, but some species can resprout from the stump or root. Wade will tell you which vegetation is likely to come back and whether a follow-up pass, selective herbicide or another method is needed for a lasting result.

How much does land clearing cost?

Cost depends on vegetation density, acreage, terrain, access and the finish you want. Send a few photos and the location and we will give you a practical plan and estimate rather than a per-acre guess.

Do you remove stumps?

Forestry mulching grinds vegetation to near ground level but typically leaves stumps and roots in place. When a clean, stump-free finish is required for building or grading, we add excavation or stump grinding to the scope and quote it separately.

Do you burn or haul away debris?

Mulching leaves shredded material on the ground as a natural erosion barrier, so most jobs require no burning and no haul-off. For full clearing and storm cleanup, we grapple and consolidate timber and debris, and arrange hauling when you need it removed.

How far will Cedar Brake travel?

Most work stays within 50 to 65 miles of Statesboro, Georgia. Larger multi-acre and hunting-property projects can justify travel of 75 to 90 miles. See our service area for the counties and towns we cover.
